Artocarpus altili

Breadfruit is a spread tree in Polynesia that easily grows and produces very nutritive big fruits. Once roast, its taste is very close to freshly cooked bread. Europeans discovered it in the years 1500 and were seduced by this polyvalent tree producing fruits rich in glucides, minerals and vitamins, and also being a source of medicinal substances.
