INAUGURATION OF THE HERBORETUM IN POLYNESIA - 13/12/2011

At the occasion of the Monoï Week, the Herboretum network has been inaugurated in Polynesia, in front of its president Mrs Geneviève BERAUD, and of many officials, associations, organizations and local firms. PACIFIQUE SUD & LCPS attended this entry ceremony of this first Polynesian site into the Herboretum network.

On November 14th, the Motu Ovini botanical garden _ stop n° 18 of the Monoï Road _ has signed the charter to become part of the international network of the Herboretum, association created in France in 2004 in order to safeguard the biodiversity while respecting the environment. This partnership will allow, among others, to develop the Polynesian resources around the world, and to pass the Polynesian values and traditional know-hows on to the future generations.
